1. Lavish Lobby
I’ve traveled the world and stayed in many fantastic hotels, but nothing compares to the ornate and inviting lobby at the Bellagio. It looks as if it was air-dropped in from Florence with all of its beautiful Italian appointments. The overwhelming main attraction in the lobby is the Fiori di Como, a stunning Dale Chihuly Glass Structure on the ceiling. It has over two thousand brightly colored flowers. It’s a one-of-kind piece of art that’s truly inspiring. This Chiluly art piece is a representation of Italian fields in the spring.
2. Location
It’s the most centrally located hotel on the Strip with connected access to Caesar’s Palace. Paris Las Vegas Hotel is situated directly across the Street. For shoppers, venture just cross the Strip and you have easy access to the phenomenal Miracle Mile Shops, a 1.2 mile long complex with more than 170 stores, 15 restaurants and live entertainment venues.
3. Fountain Show
There are lots of must-see shows in Vegas like Celine Dion, Penn & Teller and Cirque du soleil and you can add the majestic Bellagio Fountains to that list. It’s free, too. Located directly in front of the hotel is an 8.5-acre lake that periodically explodes with 1,214 spritzers rocketing water up to 460 fee in the air as selected music by everybody from Frank Sinatra to Michael Jackson plays in the background. The fountain show occurs every half-hour between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. and every 15 minutes from than ’til midnight. Make sure you see the show at night for its full effect.
4. Service Level
The service level is impressive as the Bellagio is extremely well-staffed at check-in and check-out as well as housekeeping. Well organized, you always get the sense that you can get assistance with any issue that might arise. I’m particularly impressed with the fluid professionalism at the front door where the valet department and bellman work very well together. The professional service level creates a stress-free environment for the guest.
5. Elegant Pool Area
It’s one of the classiest pool areas I’ve seen in my travels. Oozing with Mediterranean style, it has five different courtyard settings, a beautiful fountain, comfortable lounge chairs, private cabanas, daybeds, spas, cafe and poolside massage treatments. It’s a great place to relax and recharge whether you win or lose at the casinos.
