Here are 6 things to know about the PopStroke Tour Championship:
WHERE
It will be contested at Sarasota PopStroke located in Sarasota, Florida at 195 University Town Center Drive (directly behind The Mall at University Town Center near Dillard’s) There are two 18-hole golf courses, the Black & Red, designed by Woods’ TGR Design company. The Red course is the tougher of the two with strong contours and tricky hole locations. The creatively designed courses are built with high-grade synthetic turfs and incorporate realistic looking fairways, bunkers, water hazards and rough. There’s also a Jumbotron scoreboard.

FORMAT
TEAM – Two-person teams play 4-rounds (72 holes) stroke play competition. Cut to top 100 and ties after 36 holes.
INDIVIDUAL – 4-rounds (72 holes) individual stroke play competition. Cut to top 50 and ties after 36 holes.
PRIZE MONEY
$100,000 Total Purse for Team Championship (Limited to 200 teams/Purse based on full field). Winner’s purse is $20,000
$25,000 Total Purse for Individual Stroke Play (Limited to 100 players/Purse based on full field). Winner’s purse is $5,000
ENTRY FEES
$500 per team (2 person teams) plus tax
Individual Stroke Play entry fee is $250 per person plus tax.
