1. Terrific Terrain
Currently under construction on 2,400 sandy acres in east Texas, Wild Spring Dunes will be a public golf resort with world-class golf, accommodations and homesites. Two 18-hole courses are routed with plans established for a short course and practice center. Flanked by National Forests, the land is secluded with dramatic elevation changes. The land parcel has four distinct and diverse ecosystems: towering pines and hardwood forest, open, grassy meadows, rolling hills, and deep ravines carved by spring-fed creeks that snake through the secluded site. Evoking hints of Pine Valley and Pinehurst, the site suggests Wild Spring Dunes will quickly become a hugely popular resort to play.
2. Coveted Developers
Wild Spring Dunes is being developed by Michael and Chris Keiser of Dream Golf Resorts, whose collection of amazing golf resorts includes Bandon Dunes in Oregon, Sand Valley in Wisconsin and Rodeo Dunes (under construction in Colorado).
3. All-Star Designers
Tom Doak has completed one routing at Wild Spring Dunes and is preparing to begin construction. Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw have also routed a course that will follow. Doak, who has six courses ranked among the top 100 in the world, is best known for Pacific Dunes in Oregon, Ballyneal in Colorado, the Blue Course at Streamsong Resort in Florida and Cape Kidnappers in New Zealand. Coore and Crenshaw’s impressive portfolio includes Bandon Trails, Bandon Preserve and Sheep Ranch at Bandon Dunes Resort, Sand Hills GC in Nebraska, Red Course at Streamsong Resort in Florida and Sand Valley in Wisconsin to name a few.
4. Accessible Location
Set in East Texas, approximately two hours from both Dallas and Houston and 73 miles from Shreveport Regional Airport (Louisiana).
5. Founders Program
The Founders program features a wealth of benefits that include:
-
Exclusive access to tee times and lodging prior to public availability along with special Founder blocks for shorter-notice access. Today, bookings at other Dream Golf resorts run as far out as two years.
-
No additional greens fees for Founders and immediate family when accompanied; 50% guest fees for up to three accompanied guests.
-
Access to Founders-only tournaments, events, and travel.
-
Wild Spring Dunes will offer the same level of hospitality that has made Bandon Dunes and Sand Valley among the most popular destinations in golf.
-
Founder membership is transferable one time to a family member, creating a legacy for Founders.
The Founder deposit is $65,000 for the first 50 founders, increasing thereafter. For more information, click Wild Spring Dunes Founders Program.
“This land surprised me. I would never have imagined this kind of property in Texas. The pine forests. The steep ravines. The big hills surrounding it. You walk the site, and it’s always changing, and you can see golf holes on every part of it. Founders are going to get to discover Wild Spring Dunes the same way I did,” said developer Michael Keiser
